Waterfronts

Some days are just breathtaking. Yesterday, the Sun was out most of the day, we even went for a walk before Luis went to work.

After dinner I asked the boys if they wanted to go feed the ducks and hang out at the park (being as we live right across the street) they very happily agreed, but by the time we rounded up the sweaters, got diapers changed, shoes on and out the door it was soooo cold and windy!

We attempted to feed the ducks with some bread we had taken, but the wind kept blowing it away. Unfortunately we headed home. The boys were a bit bummed about the park, but they admitted they couldn't feel their toes.

Because I am always taking pictures, I managed to get a few great snaps. I must say both my Batmans and my teddy bear are so cute!

As we headed home I took in the nature around us. Despite how cold it was the wind felt good and the sky was a beautiful blue. The laughter of the kids blew away with the wind and I felt so blessed that they are mine. I get sappy every now and then. Something about that day made me hug them and kiss them a little longer before bed.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and at some point you can take in nature and all it's beauties.
