It's Been a While

It's been a long 3 months since my last blogpost. In fact I pretty much took the Summer off from writing. I have missed it more than I can even begin to describe. The truth is that I tend to put my passions on the back burner for other things that may be a bigger priority in my life. Not that writing and this blog is not a priority because it truly is. I felt my computer calling for me every day to just give it some love, but family, work and chores took priority over the keyboard.
This time away gave me time to come up with many ideas for the blog and topics I am dying to get out of my brain and translated to here. So, my hope is to get back into the groove of things and more connected with all of you again.

I hope Summer went well for you. Ours seemed like it flew by. I worked and when I wasn't working I was trying to find fun stuff to do with the kids. It was extremely HOT this summer and I hate getting sunburned or for the kids to get sunburn, so we tried to find activities to do inside. Since we were mainly in doors I really did not take much pictures this summer. Here are some snaps of Summer that I did catch.

We did manage to scratch some stuff off of our Summer bucket list, but not all. So we will definitely try at it again next year.

The boys are all doing good. Growing so much! Abram has gotten so tall, he is literally up to my shoulder. He is now 8 years old and thinks he knows everything. šŸ˜ Eli will be turning 5 in November, but a tried and true momma's boy and although sometimes I wish he was a little more independent I try to soak it all up as much as I can. Josiah is rockin those terrible twos, he is always getting into trouble. He loves to read though, so when he is not tearing up the house he is sitting somewhere reading his favorite book Brown Bear.

I am so grateful for my boys and family. The Fall always reminds me to be extra grateful for the life I have been blessed with. If I look back at the year I have had I can see there have been more ups than downs. I thank God for that because I know it has been a really tough year for our country in general.

Last year I did a series on the blog called Thankful through Thanksgiving. I featured some of my favorite bloggers and they shared a topic such as recipes, fashion, diy, beauty and what they were thankful for. Here's the links if you are interested.

I hope you have a wonderful Fall Season. It really is my all time favorite season and I can't wait to share all the memories we make this year.
